William G. Knorr, Jr. (Bill) passed away on August 20th, 2017, in Yuba City, CA, with friends by his side. He was born March 31, 1939, in San Francisco, CA. He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy. Bill was a long time r e s i d e n t o f S u t t e r C o u n t y . H e w a s a graduate of Yuba City High School and served in the Army National Guard for 5 years. Bill spent his life working on the family f a r m a n d o w n e d a trucking company. He was an Equipment operator and dedicated his life to the farming industry. Bill and Peggy belonged to the Emigrant Trail Wagon train and they completed many journeys together. B i l l wa s a n a c c omplished Black Smith, often teaching others. Bill had a passion for Camp Far West. He and Peggy spent their years collecting relics from that time in history, most of which he has donated to the Museum of Forgotten Warriors. Bill is survived by his faithful dog, Cowboy. A memorial service is scheduled for August 30th, 2017, at 11:00 am at Holycross Funeral C h a p e l , 4 8 6 B r i dge st, Yuba City.
