Walter Andrew Loeblein, 81 of Yuba City, passed away in his home, and began his journey to our heavenly father, Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was born in New York on December 10, 1935 to Walter & Matilda Loeblein who were originally from Germany. He served in the Navy and the United States Air Force as a Chief mechanical planner. He had many accomplishments in the United States Airforce such as, in 1973 he was rewarded for being a production shop planner on the U.S.S Sanctuary and the U.S.S Pigeon, participated in the water/energy management, recognized numerous times for sustaining high quality performance while on the job, his engineering squadron won in 1988 for best performance in the HVAC system, Walter was also rewarded for suggesting and designing a coil water leak detector in 1989, and voluntarily attacked the most challenging and critical jobs, he was lead planner for upgrading heating & air conditioning plants which lead him to coordinate the expertise of 8 different engineering disciplines to be able to complete installation of the Air Force conditioning plant, completed courses in civilian personnel, completed the role of supervisors and managers in EEO, received letters of appreciation for putting new zone systems on the map. and provided excellent management as a foreman of the aces heat shop while keeping the base mechanical rooms on track. He was a unforgettable husband, brother, father, uncle, friend, grandpa, and great grandpa. He enjoyed going to church, spending time with family, meeting new people, keeping up to date with todays politics, loved traveling, fishing, playing golf, laughter, and was a man of faith. He is survived by his wife Sharon Loeblein, two sons Kirk Loeblein and Brian Loeblein, grand children Christopher niece, Brian Loeblein, Amanda Lathum, Andrew Loeblein, Jessica Lathum, Krystina Loeblein, Kurtis Loeblein, Emily Loeblein, great grand children: Kristina Kay Marrie Loeblein, Emma Niece, Lizzie Niece, Hunter Lathum, Joanna Lathum, Alivea Lathum, Jasmaine Lathum, Stephanie Lathum, and steven Lathum, and brother Martin Loeblein, sisters Julie Lord, Arlene Compton, and Eleanor Jones. February 2,2017 Grave side service is at 12pm and is a private event Funeral services is on February 2, 2017 at 1:30 pm at crossroads community church located at 445 B st Yuba City CA 95991.
