Walter "Wally" Cancino passed away peacefully at his home in Yuba City on Thursday, November 30th, 2017, at the young age of 32 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Wally was born February 14, 1985, in Mexico. His mother moved to the U.S. when he and his sister were toddlers to give them a better life. He attended Yuba City High School, graduating in 2003. He worked at Long John Silver for 13 years and was a member of the LGBT community. Walter truly lived life to the fullest, even in his last days he wanted to be up and about and catch sun rays in his famous hot pink shorts. He enjoyed chatting with friends, family, and strangers, traveling every chance he got and most of all he enjoyed shopping. He had a very kind heart and quick wit, always causing laughter where he went. Walter will be remembered by his beautiful smile, amazing fashion style, loving heart and horrible driving, as anyone who's been in a car with him can tell you. He is survived by his mother, Isabel Merida, his loving sister, Esmeralda Rankin (Justin Rankin), two nephews; Andrew and Allen, dogter, Chanel Iman, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at Apostolic Church, 1461 Walnut Ave, Yuba City, CA 95993 on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 9:00 a.m.
