Higinia Jesus “Jessie” McCrill peacefully entered into eternal rest at her home on Saturday, November 25, while with her family and friends. She was 77 years old. A native of Tenamaxtlán Mexico, Jessie was a resident of Sutter County for more than 50 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Yuba City, frequently contributing her efforts to the floral offerings. A proud United States citizen, she never forgot her roots and was part of the Guadalupana (expatriates of Mexico) organization. She was also Eucharistic minister and reader for the church. For many years, Jessie, her son, and late husband operated a successful wedding venue in the town of Sutter. Each contributed their special gifts and created unique wedding experiences for their guests. Jessie leaves behind her son Adrian M. Perez, her brothers Salvador and Ignacio “Nacho” Perez, her sisters Chonita Gonzales, and Chayo Cisneros all of the Yuba‐ Sutter area, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth McCrill. The Rosary service and Mass will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Yuba City. The Rosary will begin at 930am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10am. A reception will follow in the church hall. Holycross Memorial handling arrangements.
